playing predator and prey was fun. I liked it because it was a fun activity where predators have to be sneaky and quiet when u get close to the prey. Then when you play as prey you would have to listen carefully to the sound of people/predators foot steps. When we spotted the squirrel on the dead tree because the squirrel was huge. that we can use are ears to help us spot/hear things. People spend 4% of there time outside and 96% of our time inside our houses. The different kinds of noises that animals can make.
Stop throwing garbage on the streets so no animals get confused for it being food. Drink more water then pop so I wont get to lazy to go outside. Stop leaving my T.V. on so I wont waste any more money on the electric bills or even the lights in my house when my family and I go somewhere for awhile.
Our Grade 5 class came to hike. We learned a lot about the trees and animals. We shouldn't cut down trees because there are inoccent animals that need to live in the trees and we will also waste paper if we cut the trees down. We should NOT litter anywhere. The oceans are beautiful,so dont throw garbage in the ocean or beside the oceans.Our city should be clean because if it is then, IT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL!
It was so fun hiking. I think more people should be hiking. It was cool when Jay came to our school and taught us how important it is to care for the world. People should be riding their bike or walking.
It changed my life beacause people should exercise everyday rather than taking a car everyday. We can save the earth by not putting green house gases into the air.You taut us to walk everyday instead of taking a car to school.
It was so much fun playing eagle eye. I won the game and we played only one game. Our class went to Seymour mountain and we had so much fun. We had to walk so much. There were so many stairs. A kid in our class put a slug on his head.We stopped at a place which was a really big rock, and we had our lunch there. After this I learnt that sustainability is important because we need to save trees.
It was fun on the hike. I hope we go there again. The best part was when we played the game in the forest. The forest is importent because it's good for hikeing, and the trees have oxygen so we can breath.
I like the game eagle eye! It was almost like playing hide and seek. I even found a spider nest with my friends. When we played eagle eye I was hiding behind a fallen tree with a whole bunch of these spiders.
The bug I saw on the way was a Banana slug. One of my classmates put it on his head and I was really really excited for him. When he did, everybody went, "eww" or "awesome"!
One of my ideas to help the earth is to pick up bottles or other garbage. When i go to the streets everyday there is a pile of these wrappers. Other things that I see is Tim Hortons coffee lids or cups which lots of adults leave around. Adults should also stop littering.
Sarah I did the carbon smart program -action tracker i almost filled the hole thing up. these are some of the things i wrote, turned off lights and used the sun, turned off the water while brushing my teeth, ate my own strawberry , i waked for most of the day those are the things i wrote well some of the things. In the future I will keep doing this.

I would wish to clean parks bcause in parks there are animals , trees , rivers and more. experience makes me more intrested into nature.

Going on the hike was really fun. I loved playing eagle eye it was fun. I want to go on that hike again but next time a little bit higher and longer.
This made me care more about the wilderness and I think everyone should have a white board instead of wasting all that paper.
I loved this trip and I don't want to waste as much energy and save the trees and plants so everyone can have a really nice place to live.
